Hitachi Cable announces worlds' UL listing of first 6A cable to meet the current draft of the 6A standard. Look for the joint release with UL on the HCM webiste soon. SMP has been busy with the release of a series of new products, a new faceplate with side lable holders, a new Zone distibution solution for wire basket tray. The new Limited Axcess product and also the new Dual Axcess solution for the HAX product offering. Draka has also announced the release of its new Benbright fiber cable solution.

Hitachi Cable celebtrates 20 years of manufacturing great Copper and Fiber Cable. Effective October 1st TCF will represent PDI Communications full line of coax cable and Headend equipment.

Hitachi has released a white paper on "the facts about Cat 6 cable" You can download and read the entire document from our downloads section. Copper seems to have stabilized for the moment. Take a look at several newly re-designed websites from SMP, Damac, and Meridian Technologies to name a few. Link to our entire line card from our Manufacturers page. Pricing on Copper and all raw materials has impacted all manufacturers over the past couple of months and it appears that there is no end in site yet. All cable factories have had to pull back substantially on the ability to hold pricing and deliveries have been immpacted as well. Hitachi Cable Manchester has gone above the rim to take care of our valued customers. HCM recently issued a press release on pricing that can be viewed in our downloads section. You can also see the new 10Gig Faq page posted as well.
Slap Snap has completed strength testing with some exceptional results. These test results are also posted on the TCF downloads page.
